Section 7 - Kits and Ready-to-Smock Garments
 

I. Bra Kits

Now you can make your own beautiful and properly fitted bras with kits from The Elan Pattern Company. These kits are complete with multi-sized pattern, fabric, bra findings, and instructions for proper fitting and easy to do construction. You must indicate the size of the underwires, i.e. 32B, 42D etc. or they will not be included in your kit. Intermediate sewing skills recommended and a sewing machine capable of a zig-zag stitch required. Complete details on these kits as well as ordering instructions are found on page KT3. You can also purchase refill kits that do not include the pattern. Additional bra findings are found in our notions sections. This is a special order item.

II. Pleating Service
 

A. Pleating Service
 

Kiyo Design offers a pleating service for fabrics bought from Kiyo Design only. We will pre-wash your fabric, pleat and cut out the pattern piece that requires the smocking. We will also pleat 5" to 7 1/2" Swiss Embroideries purchased from us. Allow 1-2 weeks processing.

Prices are as follows:
 

For single pass through the pleater up to 12 rows:

$5.00 plus $0.25 per row

For single pass through the pleater 12 - 24 rows:

$5.00 plus $.50 per row.

For Bishops: we will wash fabric, cut out pattern and make neckline seams, and pleat.

$20.00.

Prices for other projects determined based on complexity of the project.
 
 
 
 
 

III. Ready-to-Smock Garments

Ready-to-Smock garments are available in any Kiyo Design Imperial Broadcloth, Imperial Batiste, imperial Tartan, or Imperial microcheck. These are special order items -- all 4-6 weeks for delivery. * indicates an illustration of the garment shown on pages KT4- KT8.
